The duets listed in this volume originally came from PACHELBELS
organ work and are a sort of organ meditation, which strongly have the spirit of improvisation. In the Baroque age, improvisation was commonplace, which has been preserved to this day in the course organ: Organists must attend the subject of improvisation as the only classical musician. It's a pity, but in these little pieces there are highly interesting phrases, which are of great interest not only for lovers of classical music, but also for jazz musicians.
Not only the accompanying CD is attractive for the lessons, but also the fact that always one voice accompanies in large note values, while the other goes on in solo cascades. This way, the teacher can concentrate on his student and check the intonation! The present five compositions are attractive at almost any tempo, so that not only beginners in measured speed have their fun, but also professional players get exciting concert material in their hands. Whether church space or subway shaft: Wherever there is space and great sound, these pieces are excellent to use.
