Score and Parts
Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1643), master of early baroque music and quasi "inventor" of Italian opera, wrote a large number of smaller choral compositions, which are beautifully arranged for three identical saxophones. The entire finesse of the Renaissance in connection with the new, affected style of the Baroque and its playful melodies can be studied with this collection and then of course performed on stage.
