With a series of altogether three duet volumes, FREDERIK FEINDT presents a collection of different compositions, which are not only intended for educators, but above all for playful saxophone beginners who do not feel like constantly droning on their own. The tunes have no Étude character, but you can practice excellent the stylistic subtleties in Blues, Swing and Latin and fingerings are not too hard to play.
With the second duet book, Frederik Feindt continues the logical step and challenges you with witty pieces, which come along in different styles and revolve around the topic The End. You can find tracks like The flowing end, The classical end, The never ending or The pent ending- small pieces that turn their name into sound and really fun. Five Fingers is then a complete work (with beginning and end) that grooves incredibly - if you know how to play it. In any case, Feindt once again proves that duets do not have to sound boring if you know how to arrange and compose.
