Anyone who has ever played duets and is looking for a pleasant as well as exciting introduction to the trio, will find good sounding material in the two volumes (Order-Nr. 3025 and 3038) by
FRANK SPANIOL, saxophonist with DePhazz, one of the most well-known lounge jazz formations in the world. Moderate tempos, not too heavy rhythms and catchy themes characterize the two volumes of music, with which the author introduces himself.
With the instrumentation 2A-T the usual music school line-up is taken into account, the included CD contains the full version for listening as well as one track per voice in the Minus One version, so that also the individual voices can be practiced in a musical context. The tracks sound good even below the suggested tempo and are ideal for beginners. The well-groomed swing groove and a touch of mambo determine the scenery and then you come as a sub-vocal player (remember: here you can practice all three voices with the playalong!) not into a sweat. The soloist in the first voice should already bring self-confidence, but we are sure: You can do it!
