Take It Easy is quickly said, but is not always like that easy to implement.But that's not really what the piece is about. Degado found the melody just easy and wishes it was a little easy living feeling sets in with the actors and transfers itself to the audience.What is also special is, that the theme melody is not played by exactly one instrument, as is so often the case, usually the first alto, but is distributed over the two altos and the tenor.Alto 2 and tenor therefore always have to distinguish very precisely whether they are playing the theme.Sounds easier than it actually is, although everything is clearly stated in the notes, of course.
