The “Organ-Trios” called works by J.S. Bach are almost meditative pieces full of intensity and compositional finesse. In contrast to many other works by the master, the melody line of the Adagio does not lead through all formal regulations according to the strictest rules, but unfolds lyrically and expressively, while the two lower voices always take a stand, but are rather reserved and thus give the sound impression of a solo piece.
You can't get rid of the impression that Bach simply immersed himself in the sound of his instrument and improvised a little, in order to then shape the result. Beautiful, intellectually and sensually enchanting and a big plus for every concert!
