The piece Opacity by the Italian composer Walter Geromet is an impressive work for soprano saxophone solo, in which new playing techniques such as circular breathing or the simultaneous singing to saxophone playing not as an end in itself, but for precise support of the lively, expressive melody of the piece use. Despite the complexity and required playing technique, the result is extremely elegant and lively - perfect literature for a chamber music evening or a challenging competition!
