This composition for saxophone quartet was created for Boris Aljinovic's "The Odyssey in an Hour" at the Kleistforum in Frankfurt/Oder. It is an eight-movement suite of pieces that can be combined in any way. Harmonically and melodically, the suite is based on traditional ancient Greek modes, which are processed here formally and rhythmically using the means of minimal music.
