A ballad with 'Rubato' and 'Habanera' moments, perhaps dedicated to the wife of Paul Chambers, maybe not ... The piece is basically a feature for the soprano. He should feel like an open solo in G minor and the other players should be so selfless as to support him. The written notes are not too heavy, even though there is no real tonal center and maybe you need some time to listen in.
