The present work was composed in the summer of 2021 and deals with a typical problem of that time prevailing corona pandemic: Musicians want to make music digitally with each other and fail because of the subtle delays, caused by data transfer. The during a online conference by each individual musician generated signal must first reach the server, from there to the computer of the respective recipient - in this case nine saxophonists - to arrive.
Even the speed of light and ultra-fast computers make music in parallel impossible and the resulting delays, blends and crashings provide the titles of the three movements, in which the piece with a total duration of about 10 minutes was written.
This work was featured by Hessische Kulturstiftung - a great example of the motivating support of state institutions in difficult times.
