Mignon was written in 2017 and dedicated to the saxophonist Stefan Weilmünster. The piece originated on the one hand from the intensive preoccupation with the music of German romanticism, on the other hand with musical minimalism. The title was created during the collaboration with the theater company November 9th - “Mignon's Dance” was the inspiration. Large arcs of tension arise, the sound remains dark and mysterious.
