Originally, the compositions of t Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (born February 3, 1809 in Hamburg; November 4, 1847 in Leipzig) are world-famous and rightly sound on the saxophone as if they had never been thought of differently.
Thomas Voigt, well-known saxophonist, conductor and instrumental teacher, arranged this famous motet for saxophone quartet and left it in the original key, which means that it is fully compatible with the choral movements! The respiratory signs indicate the end of each sentence in the texts and the piece is not too difficult to play.
