Score and Parts
Locus iste are the starting words of the Latin motet for four-part mixed choir a cappella by Anton Bruckner. The piece was composed on the occasion of the inauguration of the votive chapel of the Cathedral of the Conception in Linz, but was later premiered on October 29, 1869. The piece is as the arrangement for saxophone quartet easy to play and particularly attractive in terms of sound, especially for the church with its long reverb times!
