RAMEAU - the fine art of French chamber music. Here we profit from the fact, that kings and other rulers, who, as a must-have next to fencing, conquering ladies and gambling rich ones, had the daily flute study on their agenda, did not allow themselves to be fooled with stupid études.
Each exercise had to sound like a real piece of music, and so are these pieces (they are incidentally from the harpsichord work, but that does not change their origin, because harpsichord was also part of the compulsory program) simply charming, technically relatively easy, but never boring or monotonous, so you can only say: Well, my love, to a duet! The pieces are all relatively simple – you have to practice them anyway, but that brings a lot of fun. You play 2 years? So you are there!
