Score and Parts
Where Bach expresses depth, intellect and spirituality, G.F. HÄNDEL is pure joie de vivre. He was already a wealthy man during his lifetime, who lost everything in order to regain it, a jack of all trades who knew how to please and understood much of what was known at the time as "dance music". Thus, the pieces here are taken from his first suite of suites, in which he combines unexpected complexity with his own musical lightness.
Beautiful music of the baroque, which in addition to practice the etude replaces, because here (as well as Bach) all difficulties of the saxophone playing are explored, without overstraining the player. Every day a little, and everything will be fine! Of course, this is not material for beginners, but the duets are different in their requirements: where one calls for dexterity, the other wants to be played beautifully and expressively. No problem from three years of practice.
