"Ballet du roi" - "Royal Ballet" was composed in 1663 by Jean-Baptiste Lully. It has a fixed action with Interludes, recitations, singing, pantomimes and every kind of dance. From the collaboration of Jean-Baptiste Lully with Jean-Baptiste Molière, who lived from 1622 to 1673, created a completely new musical genre, the "comédie ballet", a mixture of music and dance and theater. A piece in the style of the comédie ballet is “The Citizen as Noble” - “Le Bourgois Gentilhomme”, which was premiered on October 14, 1670 in Chambord.
