Score and Parts
The Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra in E flat major originally composed JOSEF HAYDN for the newly invented key-trumpet, with which not only the natural tone series but also chromatic passages and melodies in lower registers became playable for the first time. The finale is a very lively piece of music that sounds excellent in this arrangement for piano and alto saxophone and makes this orchestral work accessible to chamber music as well.
