Score and Parts
This volume is about Christmas music from long lost days, when music was still a rarity that should make the hearts of believers beat faster. Titles like "Lully, lulla, throw littel tyne child" prove, however, that things weren't quite as serious in the 15th century and many well-known Christmas compositions of early music from all over Europe are gathered here, making a Christmas concert a lot of fun. The songs are easy to play and the tempos moderate.
Pieces by la Halle, Troper, Smert, Sharp, Walker, Madan - and by various anonymous composers – were arranged.
